ALPA Pilot Peer Symposium | June 15-17, 2026

Course Location: ALPA HQ, McLean, VA
Hotel Name: Hilton Tysons Corner

Symposium Description

The Pilot Peer Support Symposium will be held for all interested Air Safety Organization Pilot Peer Support (PPS) volunteers and stakeholders from the government and industry. Through a diverse speaker lineup of experts from aviation and mental health, the symposium will provide tools, knowledge, and strategies to support peer volunteer teams.

Expenses, including flight pay loss, for those members being trained must be authorized from the respective MEC Committee budget. Typical expenses you should consider for your budget include:

  • Approximately $234.00 per night for hotel expenses. (Include the night before the course and one night for each day of the course.)
  • Other associated costs for consideration would include daily meals and transportation needs.
  • If required, Flight Pay Loss (FPL) for each day of the course, including at least one, and possibly two travel days.

There is a registration fee for non-ALPA participants to attend the two-day Pilot Peer Support Symposium. The fee covers the costs of provided food & beverages, including a reception and other logistics for the symposium.

If non-ALPA attendees request a hotel room, a credit card needs to be provided to the hotel at check-in to pay the rooming fees. The individual attendee is responsible for all meeting-related expenses, including travel, sleeping rooms, and additional meals outside of the event.
