This course is recommended for airline pilots with at least one year of line flying experience and is particularly well suited to those who possess strong critical thinking abilities and interpersonal communication skills—especially listening skills-and have developed qualities of empathy, respect, and open-mindedness. Pilot Assistance leadership is strongly encouraged to attend this training.

Recurrent PPS training is a required course for continued participation in the National ALPA PPS program. Peers are expected to attend either a recurrent or initial training event every 24 months or sooner if possible. This course is for current PPS volunteers to remain active in the PPS program.
